1) How does the order process work?
It's a very simple process. Basically you upload your photo
and modification requests via email, then we send you a
"no obligation" quote. Upon your confirmation, we
send you an invoice for a 50% deposit. We create your painting, you approve it and make a final payment, and then we ship it to you. You can find a complete description of our order process in the “How It Works” section of our site.
2) I want to give a custom painting as a gift but I don’t have the photo?
We have had this request from other clients as well. The solution is to purchase a gift certificate or e-gift certificate. You can send this to the person and they can use their gift certificate to purchase the painting. Just
email us of your preference, then we'll create it for you.
3) Is the photo I’m sending ok for making a painting?
If you follow the instructions we have provided at Photo Requirements, we shouldn’t have any problems in making a great painting from your photo. If you have any questions about your photo, you can email it to us for evaluation to info@davincidesignsinc.com
4) Can you also do the framing for my painting?
If you are only looking for simple frames, then YES. But if customized framing you wanted we can point you to the best in that business. By doing this, we can focus more on the high quality product we promised for your artwork.
5) How do I know if I will like my painting?
Art is definitely subjective. But, if you like the photo you are sending us, you should like the painting. We will send you a photo of the painting for your approval before it leaves the artist. At this time, if there is something that you don’t like, just let us know and we will consult with the artist to make the changes. You can also see our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
6) I have a special request for my painting. Can you do that?
Our artists are very talented. There are many things that the artists can do but there are certain things that they may not be able to do. Simply tell us your request when you place the order and we will evaluate whether we can do it or not.
7) Can you combine subjects from different photos into one painting?
In most cases, yes. We evaluate the capability of the subject then we discuss it with you. **Additional charges may apply.
8) How long will it take to get my painting?
There are two factors that influence the total time for your painting. One is the size/complexity of your painting. The other is the workload of our artists. Therefore, we can not guarantee a specific time for your painting. However, in general, you can expect to receive a photo of your painting in about 4-6 weeks. Once you have approved the painting, and after the painting has completely dried, we will ship the painting to you. Generally, our normal total lead time is 6-8 weeks to receive the painting.
9) What methods of payment do you accept?
We can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Paypal.
10) Is your order process secure?
Yes. We use PayPal as our credit card processor. PayPal has one of the best reputations in the business for online security of your transactions.
